Outstanding stallion Sequalo continues to provide his supporters with winners and at Doomben on Wednesday the 1350m event was fought out by two of his sons - Bahsa and Gotcha both trying so hard with only a short half head separating them at the finish.
A member of the Toowoomba stables of Tony Sears, Bahsa has won three of nine so far - plenty of winning cheers for his owner/breeder Alan Bamberry.
He is only the second foal produced by the winning Shinko Forest mare Mystic Garden whom Bamberry also raced to a couple of Toowoomba victories.
Also the dam of Sequalo's winner Commercially, she is a daughter of the stakes winner Classic Cliche.
Gotcha looks close to another win, the consistent Robert Heathcote trained five-year-old a game runner up at both of his runs this preparation. And it is worth noting that third up last time in he was in winning form at Doomben.
