As the trainer of exciting three-year-old Hidden Warrior (pictured) - winner of the Gr.3 C.S Hayes Stakes on W.S Cox Plate Day, respected Newcastle trainer Paul Perry is a fan of Hidden Dragon and he added another nice example of the breed to his stables at the recent Inglis Classic Yearling Sale.

Catching his eye was a lovely chestnut (the same colour as the flashy Hidden Warrior) colt out of the city winning Zabeel mare Zerelda.

Bred by Balthasar Pty Ltd and Doug Newberry and prepared by Denise McGrath out of Aurora Lodge, the handsome colt - a half brother to the Listed winner Spinnawitch - was secured by the Perry stable for $65,000.
